I’M IZABELA LAJOIE,

Founder & Artist behind Izabela Joy Art

a full-time artist and muralist, a blessed mother, and a firm believer in the power of gratitude, hope, and finding beauty in the world around us.

Specializing in commercial and residential murals and vibrant original artwork, my work is a fusion of passion and purpose, created from the heart to inspire, uplift, and bring beauty and meaning into the spaces around us.

My journey as an artist has been shaped by some of life’s most beautiful moments as well as some of its most difficult ones. After experiencing the profound loss of my spouse, art became a place where I could turn grief into something meaningful and slowly find beauty and hope again. That perspective continues to shape not only what I create, but why I create.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been named Best Muralist in Creative Loafing Tampa’s 2024 Best of the Bay Awards and a Top 2 Finalist for Best Muralist in 2025. Most recently, Izabela Joy Art LLC was recognized as a 2026 BusinessRate Top 3 business in the Artist category for Pinellas County, Florida.

You may recognize some of my earlier work and awards under my previous name, Izabela Davis.

These recognitions mean so much to me because behind them are the incredible people who have supported my work, welcomed my art into their spaces, shared my name, voted for me, left kind reviews, and encouraged me along the way. For that, I am truly grateful.

In addition to my artwork, I created my unique paint-by-number workshop, Beyond the Numbers, offering a transformative experience where art becomes a medium for emotional exploration, connection, and personal growth—without the pressure of “doing it right.”

In my world, art transcends the canvas—it’s a heartfelt expression of gratitude and a journey to bring joy, hope, and inspiration to others.

And that world is continuing to grow. Behind the scenes, I’m thoughtfully working on the next chapter of Izabela Joy Art—one that will bring even more meaning, storytelling, and connection between my artwork and the people who collect it.
